BrewCraftJournal (“we”) operates https://brewcraftjournal.online. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. We aim to collect as little as practical.

Information you provide

If you use the contact form or email us, we receive the name, email address, topic, and message you submit. We use that information to read and, when possible, respond. Messages may be stored in email and in a private server log if outbound mail fails, so the site operator can review them.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting environment may record standard request logs such as IP address, date/time, requested URL, referrer, and user agent. Logs are used for security, debugging, and reliability—not for building marketing profiles on this site.

Cookies and local storage

The contact form uses a session cookie so we can verify a CSRF security token. That cookie is necessary for the form to work securely.

The free Coffee Brew Ratio Calculator can optionally save your last recipe in your browser’s localStorage on this device. That data stays in your browser unless you clear site data or use the calculator’s Reset button. We do not receive calculator recipe contents on our server.

We do not currently run analytics or advertising cookies on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy before enabling them. For general information about how Google uses data when ads are present on other sites, see Google’s advertising technologies page and Ads Settings.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

You can email us to ask about a contact message you sent. You can clear cookies and localStorage in your browser settings. You can also contact us at [email protected].
